painting with photography - photo collages

BOTH SIDES NOW

I've looked at clouds

from both sides now

From up and down

and still somehow

It's cloud's illusions I recall

I really don't know clouds at all.

BOTH SIDES NOW questions the way we consider the sky.

In these collages, clouds are only expressed through their reflection or the transparency of a material.

This draws our attention back to, the notion of screen, again at stake.

Are clouds really accessible?

Do we look at the cloud or the idea of the cloud, of the sky?
